Bongani cigars

Bongani is the first cigar brand created in Africa whose cigars are produced in Mozambique. Africa is very well positioned to produce excellent cigars due to its rich soils, plenty of water and sunshine and a long history of tobacco farming. In order to reach the same level of expertise as in the Dominican Republic, the factory sent a team of cigar rollers to form the Mozambican cigar rolling team. The first team of cigar rollers graduated in 2017, they are currently training a second generation. The brand is growing and is progressively expanding in Africa, the United States and Europe.

Regarding the tobacco used, the wrapper comes from Cameroon, it is one of the best wrappers in the world. The tobacco is mostly grown in the province of Manica in Mozambique, and will soon be grown in Nigeria as well. The leaves are aged in cedar in Ghana which gives them a rich and unique flavor as Ghanaian cedar is very fragrant.

Bongani cigars offer a generous taste with complex aromas. With a medium to full body, the draw is easy and the combustion very balanced.
