Corleone Cigars

"Corleone", a premium non-conformist cigar.

Corleone or the finger raised against the dictates of a slight majority, the refusal of prohibitions and the restoration of individual freedoms. Prohibition increased crime and delinquency. In 1919, with the enactment of the 18th Amendment, alcohol was banned in the United States. The mafia, originated from the village of "Corleone" indirectly allowed the lifting of the prohibition. This small Sicilian village became the symbol of anti-prohibition and the freedom of the people through the brand of "Corleone" cigars.

Smoking a "Corleone" is a political gesture and a way of proclaiming: "I am a free being"

Corleone cigars get their unique aroma and flavour from a top-of-the-range blend privileged to a puro. Because, like a great wine or a prestigious champagne, it is from the blend that the great balances are born: a perfectly controlled power, subtle and complex aromas, a linear combustion with a generous smoke.

Long fillers, handmade from a fine and long selection of the best tobaccos from Ecuador, Peru, Nicaragua and Santo Domingo, they draw from each of these terroirs what makes its strength and personality:
- the complexity of Peruvian aromas,
- the spices and power of Nicaraguan tobacco,
- the controlled combustion for Santo Domingo.

Finally, Ecuador certainly has the most beautiful capes and under-capes in the world. Manufactured in Nicaragua, in factories selected for their ancestral artisanal know-how, Corleone cigars are the result of a 100% Entubado rolling technique, a method inherited from the purest tradition of the best Cuban torcedors.

Throughout the manufacturing process, from planting to fermentation and rolling, more than 200 hands are needed to make these cigars.
