Alec Bradley Mundial - An innovative range of cigars, and the first one to be sent into space.

Launched in 2013, the Mundial range, consisting of five modules, represents the best of Alec Bradley's expertise. The entire range uses the perfectos format, one of the most complicated modules to roll. The choice of tobacco took several years to achieve the aromatic balance demanded by its creator, Alan Rubin. The wrapper comes from Honduras, with two binders from Honduras and Nicaragua. The filler is composed of four types of tobacco from Honduras and Nicaragua. For the market launch of this new range of cigars, Mr. Rubin took the name 'Mundial' at its face value. The five new modules were sealed in a rocket and sent into the stratosphere, more than 30Km away from the surface of the earth. They were found by GPS beacon in the desert, two hours later, several kilometers from their starting point in Las Vegas. An outstanding marketing approach that will be remembered!
